Please do not ring the practice if you have received a letter from NHS England regarding Covid vaccinations. These letters are being sent to offer patients the option of booking an appointment at the Centre for Life in Newcastle and have not been sent from the practice. These letters are generating a huge number of queries which is preventing us from dealing with telephone calls from patients who require routine GP care. Our own vaccination centre is at Hexham Primary Care Centre and we are currently working through Group 4 patients i.e. those aged 70-74 and those on the high risk list. We are inviting patients strictly in order of age and will ring or text you when it is time to book your appointment. Meanwhile if you prefer to go to Newcastle for your vaccination please use the contact number on the letter to book your appointment or to address any queries with that system.
