Caroline Wood – Community Paramedic

Caroline is our Community Paramedic and will visit patients who need assessment at home.

We have a team of community paramedics who are employed through our PCN and who will come out to visit patients on behalf of GPs.  They provide a great service to patients because they can attend much more quickly than a GP but will liaise with our Duty Doctor regarding treatment options and ongoing care. They will try to prevent admission to hospital where possible.
