The most effective and convenient method for ordering repeat prescriptions is via our Patient Online service – further information is available at the surgery about how to register for this service.
If you do not have access to a computer, your request for a repeat prescription can be posted to us or handed in at reception. Tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. Your prescription will be ready for collection 48 hours later. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope). Non-dispensing patients can have prescriptions sent electronically to a nominated pharmacy.
Repeat prescriptions can also be requested by telephone on the main surgery number, followed by option 1. Please note that access to the repeat prescription line is now restricted to afternoons so that our receptionists can respond more quickly to urgent calls which come through during the morning. This should mean that patients spend less time on hold waiting for the prescription line to be answered.
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you may be asked to make an appointment.
