We are now running Covid Vaccination clinics here at Corbridge Health Centre using the Astra Zeneca vaccine. We will soon complete the Group 6 patients (those aged 16-64 with underlying health conditions) and start contacting those in Group 7 (patients aged 60-64). The National vaccination programme has already sent letters to these patients and those aged 55-59 inviting them to book at one of the mass vaccination centres. These letters have caused considerable confusion because patients assume we are also vaccinating at the same rate and these centres have very few appointments available locally. Please just ignore the letter if you are happy to wait for the practice to contact you.
Meanwhile, we are also currently contacting Group 2 patients (those aged over 80) to arrange their 2nd dose appointments at Hexham Primary Care Centre. Please wait for our call or text message.
